Key-Ads Inc. is the billboard company I worked for. My department was also the in-house marketing team. We handled all the marketing materials, self-promotions, and sales collateral for the company. I have developed numerous internal materials and artwork over the years, and here are a few notable examples.

The red “Out of Sight? Out of Mind.” self-promo features the company tagline and logo; that’s it. A good billboard is straightforward and doesn’t require much information. Billboards are best at creating strong brand recognition. If drivers see the company name and get a general idea of what the company does, they can Google the rest later. Since the artwork was simple, I designed the typography to add a bit more style. I chose red because it’s a bold color that grabs attention. As a self-promo, it was posted on all their digital boards in Dayton and surrounding areas at the beginning of 2025 and will stay in circulation for a long time.

The “Getting Better with Age” artwork is a sponsorship ad insert for the Concours d’Elegance event by Dayton History. Key-Ads often sponsors events and companies, creating ad inserts, flyers, posters, or banners to display at these events. This event showcases antique, classic automobiles, and motorcycles, and the design was featured in a pamphlet distributed at the show. It features a vintage style with an older vehicle and a tagline that highlights Key-Ads as a business that only improves over time.
